A recipient of the 2011 Young Achiever’s Award in Uganda, Kemiyondo Coutinho has been writing for African Woman since age 17.

She has been founder and director of many arts projects - NuVo Arts Festival in Uganda, Kemistry Klass, a content company geared at producing content for film and TV.

She is the creator  for A Ka Dope, a collective of events aimed at showcasing Uganda's talent. Kemiyondo is a Young and Emerging Leadership Project fellow of the LéO Africa Institute.
